Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say ‘hi!’ Feel free to join us!

Dear Quinn and Rose listeners:
We continue to be moved by your loyalty and your support. So many of you have written to encourage us during this time. As you may know from reading media reports — we will remain off the air in the Pittsburgh Market for a brief period of time. Many of you have asked what our plans are thereafter.
We can tell you this; we are considering multiple exciting opportunities and we are confident that we will be back in your cars, homes and offices before you know it!
We miss you. We knew that we had a large audience and that our audience had a strong voice. However — we did NOT know just how large and how strong! You have touched us deeply.
Since being off the air, we have enjoyed the holidays, caught up on our sleep and watched something other than news programming! That’s a rarity for us. We very much miss bringing you our cutting edge take on politics and news of the world and we can assure you that this down time will be short lived. We are blessed with opportunity.
In the meantime, there are a few events that Rose was committed to before the show was pulled.
Her biggest concern is getting the word out without our normal platform. Please give the following serious consideration. She’d LOVE for you to join her on a fabulous excursion to Italy!

Thanks for sharing the email! Glad to hear that Q&R will be back soon. My morning drives are bad enough with the cold and snow; worse having to listen to bad radio.

The problem is it's still all CC unless I'm mistaken. That means Q&R might be back on with CC. IF so why the no compete? Maybe just to keep them from going outside CC?
As I mentioned before stations sometimes take program rights but don't air them just to keep them from other stations. I think my stations did that with Boortz for a while.

Don't get me wrong it's going to get cold but it shows how far off the forecasters often are.

Ugh! Stayed up to watch PART of Alaska the Last Frontier and then switched over to watch PART of The Curse of Oak Island (a subject that’s always fascinated me!). Stupid thing to do. I can’t stay up until 11:00 anymore. Now I’m dragging. I hope I can make it through the day today!
39 degrees here. It won’t last long, but I’ll take it anyway!

Cold front went through here around 5AM. Went from 44 to 33 in less than an hour. Now at 28. Winds over 22mph.

We dropped 11 degrees in an hour..
The X would still keep the Pens but anything else is just wild speculation. Mrs p6 is doing fine except for her age catching up to her, lol!

Quick post...as power is flickering & I gotta get my phone charged. We have 45 mph gusts and we dropped 14 (@25 now) since I first checked. Our SD had NO DELAY, and my son texted from bus that wind was swaying bus.
Yinz all be careful...and prayers for no power outages w/brutal wx that is coming.

Just checked, and we’ve already dropped from 39 to 30 since I posted an hour ago! Wind is whipping up out there too!
