Fortunately, there are other choices. Had the hankering for a sub yesterday and went to a local place owned by second/third generation Vietnamese. Part of one of those rare convenience stores w/o a gas station and called “Overstuffed Subs”. Great selection and they really lay on the ingredients - the shrimp poorboy is a real treat.
to add to the refrain, Subway can do whatever they want....so can I ....so no more Subway and I loved their cold cut combos with oil and vinegar...
