Actually I don't think this is a bad idea..

I'm going to be 75 myself in a few years and it doesn't seem cost effective for Medicare, Obammacare, the VA or any other government program to spend tax dollars to keep me alive a few extra months should I get cancer or any of the other things that are going to kill me..

Seems to me folks that want this should buy private insurance ..

Geeeeeee .. our gracious govt lets people live to 76; and if you get cancer then .. no treatment.

And .. these are supposed to be the “compassionate” ones; the “tolerant” ones.

I’m at PUKE already ..!!!

“Government compassion.”

The moral question here is the easy part. Everybody should get treated, no matter what their age.

The question of who pays for it, is considerably more complex.

When governments do not have the money, who pays?

But if you have a private health insurance plan...oh, wait, we are doing away with those.

The best way to head off widespread government euthanasia here is family revenge. That is, to let the “angel of death” medical people know that unnatural death is murder, and if they murder, they will face the fate of murderers.

The trick is to find some way of connecting a family whose respected elder has been murdered, with an executioner with no known connection to them. This suggests an organization that is basically a “Revenge, Inc.”

The original “Murder, Inc.” subcontracted for organized crime mobs in the 1930s and 1940s, and may have killed some 400-1000 people before they were broken up. This shows how difficult it is to stop such an organization.

And because the primary purpose of “Revenge, Inc.” is not money, but to prevent “legal murder” by frightening the murderers into *not* murdering, if carried out with some intelligence, it would likely achieve its goal by just killing a dozen serial killer medical personnel.

Ezekiel Emanuel, the architect of Obamacare has proposed to similarly ration care to the elderly and the very young because they are of less value to society...very little different that the Nazis.

This is longevity redistribution. If you live longer than average, you are enjoying an unfair advantage which must be taken away from you in the name of social justice. Liberal politicians, of course, are exempt.

Too old to be given cancer treatment: NHS is 'writing off' patients who are over 75...not just the NHS - at 75 I started with a new urologist last year after my previous doc of twenty years retired - he told me during our first meeting that my PSA was good, but even if it went bad by this time and confirmed cancer, anything he could do for me would probably make me sicker than the cancer - sure made me feel better.....

The worse the system gets the worse the survival statistics get the more reason they have to deny treatment. Sounds like a death spiral.

I wish there were a rule prohibiting all those above 75 sitting in the U.S. Senate.

Well, they’re NOT going to be writing off liberal elites over the age of 75. George Soros will be ‘treated’ with the best there is as long as it can be pumped into him. Same with all the Hollywood bigs - and dem politicians.

What there means is members of the middle class over a certain age won’t be treated for cancer.

Knowing the thuggy nature of liberals I assume that age will be dropped to the the mid-thirties for anyone NOT a liberal.
