Lots of Indian reservations to buy from. But it is a funny time of year for fireworks, except I guess Chinese New Year is coming up.
To: Chode
Yep, not a "firecracker".
Happy New Year, Chode.

I made that mistake once (and only once)...I was going to throw a firecracker, so I lit the fuse, went into my wind-up, and BANG! It went off in my hand right behind my head. I couldn’t feel a thing...I thought sure I had been left with a bloody stump. I started to feel a tingle in my hand after a few minutes, so I decided to look. Still intact, all fingers with one thumb. NEVER did it again...

Wasn't there a 'firecracker' called the 'Pineapple' years ago? It was supposed to be the equivalent of 1/4 stick of dynamite. We used to lodge one in a wall, light it, and then run back about twenty-five feet. Even at that distance; the concussion still rattled your rib cage.
Good times.

Ha! My Uncle has no eyebrows or eyelashes! He tried to build a rocket-powered wagon back in about 1930.

We had M-80’s and they might take off a finger if everything was just right, but not a hand. IMO We respected them.

When we were little, my dad would light cherry bombs with his cigarette and throw them out the car window, while driving during those times of the year.
I think that was taking an absurd risk, with kids in the car. I'll say. Second-hand smoke from that cigarette. It's a wonder you survived.

An M-250 is not a firecracker. it is a quarter stick of dynamite, IIRC.
