Who says the US is still a truly-democratic country? Sure, the people go through the motions of elections every two years, but how effective is that, really?

As someone once said, if voting actually changed anything, it’d be made illegal.

A government that allows none of its ruled to run their own lives certainly isn’t going to allow those same fools to actually choose who will run the government.
