Sometimes those thieves assume room temperature due to firearms of home owners.

And we have less theft.
But cities in all parts of the country are the epicenter of theft.
One of these days ‘homeland’ will tell you in no uncertain detail that the thieves have EARNED the right to steal from you - and YOU BETTER NOT HARM THEM.
