Looks like a scene from a medieval siege.

Understood....I believe this is much like what was seen in Egypt when the people revolted against the Government....but they do not have the military on their side...at least not yet.
Nasty business happening there...and i agree with the poster who mentioned this being about if or not Ukraine can maintain their hope to be part of the EU or if it will return to Putin’s domain.
Putin will fight this and already made several deals with the Current Leadership.....he’s not going to let this go now he’s got his claws in this nation IMO. Though he may step back again.
What? Behind the rabbit?
Ideally, there should be a “Neither” option, but unfortunately the choice between pro-EU or pro-Russia is being forced on them.
Given only these two options, European or Russian, isn’t it obvious which civilization values Americans are more comfortable with?
Armor, that’s a good idea. Though I think I would like a shield cut from a 50 gallon steel drum— to make it closer to what the police have.
Yes, when the choice is between the Christians of Russia who are fighting Muslim terrorists and the secular socialists of Europe who embrace them, I guess the choice is clear.
Nothing soft about messing with Ukranes no matter which side they’re on. Saw a photo of Reuters cameraman ..his head was all bloodied. So it’s not safe for anyone there.
Exactly right...it’s not such an easy choice all around. But they really don’t want to have a Communist running their country I think.
Ukraine is important for moving the oil lines through there.....all interested parties are going to fight this til one or the other comes out on top. It really isn’t about what the people have or not......Putin wants the Ukraine back under his domain regardless.
What a dilemma for the ignorant here, choosing between the EU or Putin’s Russia. Good think the Ukrainians fighting and dying for freedom don’t consult ignorant Americans.
