The incessant caterwauling of these leftists is so STOOOOPID as to make one’s scalp itch, but make no mistake, the evil effect of “political correctness” is cumulative and profound. American football (Is there any other kind?) is under attack. Caricatures of dopey NFL personalities abound; over-zealous sideline parents infest the reality cable shows; stories of swollen brains are all the rage. Why? Because football is a quintessentially male interest. It is currently THE most popular sport in America...it’s ALL AMERICAN!
Thus, it is a perfect target for the Critical Theorists of Cultural Marxism...the remnants of the infamous Frankfurt School...target all of the iconic, traditional norms of society for criticism and ridicule...break down institutions like sports, marriage, family, the military, education, etc.
Yessir, keep an eye on football folks, it’s about to go the way of manliness, SUVs, the gold standard, and respect for the Constitution.
