Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) proposed using the Internal Revenue Service to curtail Tea Party group funding during a speech on how to exploit and weaken the movement at the Center for American Progress on Thursday.
Arguing that Tea Party groups have a financial advantage after the Supreme Courts 2010 Citizens United decision, Schumer said the Obama administration should bypass Congress and institute new campaign finance rules through the IRS.
It is clear that we will not pass anything legislatively as long as the House of Representatives is in Republican control, but there are many things that can be done administratively by the IRS and other government agencieswe must redouble those efforts immediately, Schumer said.

You ever hear of the movie “Bullet to the head?”
Sorry Chuckie, its the law of the land Congress passed it, the President signed it and the Supreme Court upheld it.
Activities?
“Don’t these people ever get sick and die. “
No you have to wrestle them to the ground and drive a stake through their heart. :-)
"The Tea Party rank-and-file know its a different America, said Schumer. It looks different; it prays different; it works different. This is unsettling and angering to some.
Translation: "I have determined that Evangelicals, devout Catholics and Orthodox Jews are now guilty merely for the fact that they exist. Therefore, I am now entitled to use my powers as Senator to persuade Federal agencies to disregard the law of the land in order to publicly silence the "guilty" and punish them as I see fit"...
If only NY and CA would quietly slip into the sea half our problems would go away. :-)
Yes he pretty much let the mask completely drop there, didn’t he?
Yes he is and so is Coomoo in NY, one of Shumeys running buddies. They are not pulling any punches by using the weight of our government against us.
Until recently I always held out hope that it would not come to bullets in the streets but we now must face the fact it is most likely going to happen. Will it be the red states against the blue states or will it just be a free for all?
So by Schumer own logic..if it is ok to use the IRS to attack your political enemies ..... and the IRS is now involved in healthcare.... is it okay then to deny healthcare or medical services to people you politically do not agree with?
Schumer is a worthless Kapo.
No if California and New York quietly slip away it would not be the end of our problems, the problem is these states have gone to the point of now actively persecuting people for political ideas and denying freedom of thought ...
‘Is Schumer going to be in charge of loading us on the train cattle cars?”
I am sure he would volunteer to send us all to the re-education camps.
True the retards are moving from CA and NY to other states and then voting to turn those places into the same chithole they left.
Every night I pray no more New Yorkers move to GA. We are getting lousy with them. They are all Democrats. If allowed they will turn GA blue but we are not going to let that happen. :-)
Oh he has a moral compass alright. It works perfectly. It's just that his compass points in the opposite direction of all that is good.
to attack those whose political views you disagree with?
Eh? Is there something wrong with that????
Schumer was one of the senators to initially told the IRS to investigate the tea party.
Why hasnt the tea party filed a class action lawsuit against those senators who did this?
So by Schumer own logic..if it is ok to use the IRS to attack your political enemies ..... and the IRS is now involved in healthcare.... is it okay then to deny healthcare or medical services to people you politically do not agree with? There it is folks, as raw and as naked as fascism gets.
