By 2035, there will be almost no poor countries left in the world.”
almost huh Bill?
thats a real tricky way of saying very little of substance.
in 21 Years there wont be thousands of children living on garbage mounds in India?
Jesus said that we would always have the poor. Who you gonna believe Him or Gates?
“The poor ye shall always have with you,” Jesus said. But what did he know? He’s only the Son of God.
these are relative terms. there will always be poor folks.
Methinks Gates is full of crap, crap he obviously believes.
One of the ways America gives, is that we lowered our import tariffs so that our domestic producers are taxed more than foreign producers. Thus we have created incentives for companies to offshore to third world countries.
The end result of this has been high unemployment in the U.S. and a troublesome debt load. I think it can safely be said that the U.S. has given too much. It’s one thing to help lift up another country. It’s another thing to lift them up by weakening yourself. And that’s what we have done.
We need to spend some time taking care of America, and restoring her industries. We don’t have to boost exports. Just reduce imports and get America back on her feet and her people working. Then we will be stronger and better financially to help other nations.
Yes, there will always be poor, but Gates is correct. The intense poverty will in fact be banished. The United States has been mostly oblivious to the progress others have been making since the fall of the Berlin wall, and no more so than the left, who have a Malthusian worldview that claims it is impossible. But most of the world did embrace capitalism, and is catching up.
The way things are going, in the foreseeable future, the only poor country on earth will be the USA.
Bill Gates is a lefty. Our economic prosperity is an illusion supported by manipulations of enormous debt. As an eventual energy and agricultural exporter with inadequate manufacturing, the USA will continue to decline (see third-world, despotic regimes relying on that paradigm).
The debt game will make some events in the process of default and decline more surprising and harmful. Apparently, some of the most influential constituents are trying to have their politicians and fund managers manage the decline to fit the few animals regarding themselves to be “more equal than others”—an environmentalist/animal-worshiper utopia in their minds.
By 2035, if the Sun’s magnetic field doesn’t reverse its current multi-decade decline, the worldwide death toll from starvation/disease/cold will be in 10 digits.
Attention all:
GATES NEVER SAID THERE WOULD BE NO POOR PEOPLE
GATES SAID THERE WOULD BE NO POOR COUNTRIES.
Poor people yes, Poor countries no.
aha.....that stands to reason
by that date the US still won’t be a poor country... but it will have a lot more poor people unless we overthrow this crowd of communists poste haste
yes.
this just in
Gates taking FACIAL EXPRESSION lessons from obama...
developing....
to hell with Gates, I’ll do my best to make sure the poor stay that way by not giving one cent to change things!
by 1935 I won’t give a shit, i’ll be dead, cooked and sent to the landfill!!
Make that 2035!!
