I haven't seen D'Souza on the talk show circuit lately...this explains a lot!
I would just say, IMHO, that meeting one's spouse's needs is important, but it works both ways, doesn't it? and characterizing the younger woman in question as a "nubile young groupie" is perhaps a biased description?
IF this change of relationships was done above-board, as it seems to have been, then it's none of my business, I will not criticize, and I will keep my opinion to myself, not having personal acquaintance with any of these people, and not making judgement without knowing all the facts.
Nevertheless, I'm sure it's been difficult for all involved, and I'm sorry for them...I hope their lives go forward, better!
“I hope their lives go forward, better!”
Certainly doesn’t sound like they will get better with targeted punishment from the sodomite-in-chief, huh?
Sure it is. I'm a 47-year-old faithful wife. If my husband finds his soulmate in a 20-something married employee, "nubile young groupie" is the least of the verbiage my highly compensated attorney will offer.
That said, Mr. D'Souza's profile has dropped since these events occurred. Honestly, I hope he walks on the election-finance charges, even if he's guilty. A Democrat "bundler" *snicker* would.
Personally, I wouldn't call it above board, having followed the story since the beginning.
Note that I like D'Souza. I've liked him since he was a student at Dartmouth, editing The Prospect and writing for The Dartmouth Revices.
I have no doubt that there was a substantial political element to this election law charge against him, although he may have violated the law.
