I was simply making a general point. I guess if the shoe fits, wear it. From the look of most of the posts, the trend is against your position that this “shooting” was somehow “justified.” And for the record, I did argue the facts. I believe that people should not be cops for a lifetime career. The environment is too toxic and is results in an anti-social personality that affects all that are ever around them. And it’s broader for me since I think that LEOs have become a generally abusive and disgraceful lot who take pleasure in physically abusing the rest of us and in routinely getting away with their unconstitutional behavior. For me the word “moron” fits the vast majority of them. Sorry!

And I never justified any shooting. However, since you bring it up, there is new information provided further on that states the original police report claims the deceased struck the shooter before the shooter fired. The deceased was larger and stronger than the shooter. So there is the possibility that a self-defense claim can be brought.
