Nicole Oulson told a national television audience today that she wants Curtis Reeves, the man accused of killing her husband in a Wesley Chapel movie theater, to spend the rest of his life in prison.
He brought an unfair life sentence to me to have to raise my daughter alone, to have to live without the love of my life, for my daughter to grow up without her daddy by her side for graduation and marriage, Oulson said on ABCs Good Morning America. It was so unnecessary, it was for no reason. So I want him behind bars and to be punished for his senseless act.
Its a little to early in the morning to be drinking bud. Step away from the computer and come back with some class, tact, and candor please.

Better watch out for the phaser in that case!

One guess: you are a gun nut supporting another gun nut?!
“there are some things a prudent person can do to avoid escalating a potentially dangerous confrontation”
Like if you are carrying a pistol legally, be the bigger man and move to another seat. Or I know this will sound completely INSANE, but ignore the fact that someone is texting during coming attractions?
The entire fiasco was a tragedy. The ex cop was wrong, the arrogant victim was wrong, the wife for exploiting the incident is wrong. The ex cop won’t last six months in prison before someone shivs him. The wife and child will have to go on with their lives without a husband or a father. Just a tragedy all the way around, especially the way the MSM will exploit the gun angle of the incident. Never mind the fact that ex police get a pass for CCW.
she is hurt and angry... she has something to say... we have no idea whether or not she is concerned about her daughter... the retired cop shot and killed a man for a petty reason...
Talk about a bunch of nuts. This thread is full of them. A man is shot in cold blood in a movie theater by an ex cop because the man was texting. The cop has ZERO excuse. He is a danger to society.
I have teenagers who might be stupid enough to text in a theater. Should I fear for their lives? My husband might have the need to respond to an urgent text in a theater. Should he DIE for that? Should he have to defend himself from a crazy ex cop and end up in jail himself?
her daughter speaks in broken english? what child says "me happy too"
One that's 22 months old ...
lol
old-fashioned? no... judgmental? very... ungracious? indeed...
I was wondering how long it would take for the cheap sarcastic easy shot to show up. Sure beats reasoning and thinking and setting out a point of view. Nice contribution to the discussion. Try actually reading comments or taking a course in argumentation. It might help.
the movie had not yet started...
You know... we make an issue of the fact that liberals will support people like Anthony Weiner. They will never take issue with one of their own. And then we have some at FR who try to somehow justify the shooter in this case.
Nominating this post for biggest stinker of the thread.
i was thinking it started at post number 1...
You can't? The 71 year retired cop did.
And you sound like a disgruntled ex cop who puts pigs and authority figures on a pedestal.
Passing judgment on others we dont know is fun isnt it?
If only everyone acted like you, grieved like you, lived like you, then the world would be a better place, right? One big group-think utopia where empathy is only given to those who follow your rules and are deemed worthy.
Did you once stop to consider that she is mad as hell and taking any opportunity to voice that anger or were you too busy thinking about yourself and how YOU would deal with it, condemning everyone else for stepping outside the precious rules you live your life by.
How big of a twisted sociopath do you have to be to attack a shooting victim and widow for the crime of grieving in a way you dont deem appropriate per YOUR rules.
I hope the ex pig gets raped in prison daily for the pain he has caused this family. Their child now gets to be raised without a father and that will cause a lifetime of issues.
“My husband might have the need to respond to an urgent text in a theater.”
How would your husband know whether or not he has an urgent text to respond to when the theater management requests that everybody turn their phones off? Your husband must be more important than everybody, huh. Maybe he shouldn’t be in the theater to begin with while waiting for the important emergency text? Maybe his life is so important that he should just stay home and play with his phone, huh.
I've been wondering exactly what that "more" is? The given story is words were exchanged, but I have a feeling the texter got hot-headed about anyone telling him to shut his phone off and immediately ramped up the tension. Doesn't justify the shooting, unless more information comes out.
