Although, here is my concern:

If we install a program, wouldn’t this void the warranty?

Once you own the PC you can install whatever you want, its yours..you get the 1 year warranty for hardware, never software..the issue I had with my PC is that it would take about 5 minutes to shut down, turns out it was because of a bluetooth driver that was causing it to take forever to shut down, had to talk to 20 technicians at Dell before FINALLY one of them figured it out..but yeah warranty’s are always for hardware related issues, otherwise they will just tell you to reformat the hard drive
