Try the dictionary. If I felt strongly that he did drink, I could be a lot more explicit than that. “Supposedly” as I’m using it, means that I have no idea whether it’s true or not.
What it says is that you do not believe that he does not drink...hence my query.
He says openly that he is a recovered alcoholic... meaning he doesn’t drink. There is NO reason to question his claim. You can dislike and disagree with Beck all you want.
