I like Elton John too, and I was 17 years old when I found out he was gay. And I didn’t care. His lyrics and piano playing are still profound and awe-inspiring, and he is still one of the greatest musical artists of the 20th century. No matter what his sexual orientation is, Elton John is still a Clear Spirit. Go to YouTube and listen to “I’m Still Standing”. It’s a good, hard song, and you can tell that he put his heart and soul into it.
I feel the same way about artists I grew up on after I found they were gay - I never cared and left it up to them to decide if they want to make a colossal deal out of it. For me, Rob Halford of Judas Priest was a case in point - and thank G-d he decided not to go the Dan Savage or Ellen Degeneres route and make it his entire identity.
“Go to YouTube and listen to Im Still Standing.
No, you WATCH, not listen on Youtube. And yes, it’s full of faggots in the video.
That “clear spirit” says it is “heartbreaking” that his adopted son will grow up without a mom.
But he paid her big money to never see him again.
So he’s totally responsible for the heartbreak and travesty of keeping a child forever apart from his mom.
He bought him like a farm animal.
It wasn’t a child who otherwise would be abandoned, that no one else would take.
The mother was artificially inseminated by elton john.
His inspiring lyrics....which often make little sense....were nearly all written by Bernie Taupin
Some make sense....Texas Love Song...
I like Elton too
