So lets legalize all drugs. Then the “badgeMonkeys” as you are so fond of saying will have their cash stream cut off until they start catching and impose large fines on drug users when the drive or act like assclowns in public.
This isn’t all about cash. This is about the moral decay that comes with drug use. Sure, we can make money off it like a bunch of vultures, but all that cash wont do squat when the population is gorked on weed and we produce a generation of pot addled dimwits.

The moral decay in America is neither caused by nor a product of drug use. Drug use is a symptom of that decay.

The disease of moral decay is a deliberate infection created
by “isms”....communism, progressivism etc. The enemies within are destroying us and the use of drugs is but a symptom of the decay and rot they are fostering.

The number one cause for America’s decline was the choice by many to turn away from the Christian values this country was founded on. THAT is the cause of the moral decay.

Ever notice how pot legalization threads attract Libertarians like flies to a dog turd.

Yeah, moving from one extreme to the other is totally reasonable.

At least at the federal level, yes we should legalize all drugs. As I challenged another poster, please point me to the article, section, clause or ammendment in the Constitution that grants the Federal government the power to control what I can or cannot ingest into my own body. State level, maybe that’s a different story depending on the state. Some state constitutions may well grant the state governemnt such authority, but I am still opposed to granting any government the authority to regulate my own body.

Consider, if the state can make ingesting a marijuana brownie illegal, what prevents that state from making the ingestion of a non-marijuana laced brownie illegal? We always complain about and make fun of Bloomberg’s large soda ban in NYC. In principle, what’s the difference?

Haven't you heard the latest meme?

Potheads don't have car accidents and it's "unfair" to drug test them for drugs in their system.

Never mind that the 0.08BAC alcohol standard isn't about "accidents", it's about convictions.

The druggies damned themselves by demonizing tobacco and alcohol. If the same standard of use is to be applied, it could only be purchased within restricted hours, in restricted quantities, heavily taxed, fines for public use (in city parks you are restricted in drinking and smoking), ATF raids for evading taxes on it, and only by those who've reached the age of majority (which means the wittle teen aged dope smokers are STILL going to jail).
