“It appears there is much more to Wendy Davis than meets the eye.”

Factually inaccurate.

Actually, there is NOTHING more to Wendy Davis than what meets the eye. Another empty, vapid, bit of political fluff. Sprouting whatever words have been put into her empty head by her liberal masters!

at the time her daughter requested her father serve as her managing conservator.”

That is weird lingo. Can any TX law types fill us in on what that means?

Managing conservator is the legal guardian of child. My wife and I are this as we are raising a child abandoned by her mother.

The Texas Family Code does not use the term "custody" in describing a parent's legal relationship with a child, but instead employs the more legalistic term "conservatorship." Although somewhat formalistic, this terminology implies less of a focus on children as inanimate property items of the parents (as the term "custody" might imply) and instead focuses more on the rights, responsibilities, benefits, and burdens of the parent-child relationship: that parents are there to "conserve and protect" a child, not merely possess a child like a table or chair.

I do not understand why this woman did not want her own children. That is disgusting.

Anyone know where she got the name Davis?

Geez, she isn’t even from Texas.

Thank you, that was a very complete explanation. You and your wife are very kind to be caring for your child, good luck to you all.

Thanks. Terminology is slightly different in Texas, and I don’t practice divorce law to begin with.

Anyone know where she got the name Davis?

2nd husband, Jeff Davis, attorney...the guy who she left the day after he paid the last payment on her Harvard Law School bill..the guy she gave custody of her children, even the child from her first marriage.

To paraphrase Wendy on being a Mom to her kids, "It's not a good time for me."

She was also screwing around on her husband. Of course, those are all resume enhancers for a dim.

This would be a great opportunity for the voters of Texas to say to Abortion Barbie, in huge numbers, "It's never a good time for you."

I didn’t see this anywhere in a quick scan of the thread - a copy of the TRO (Temporary Restraining Order) against Wendy:
