How is he not conservative? I live in East Texas (half the year) and have voted here for a long time. Cornyn disagreed with Cruz and Lee on the tactics of taking down Obamacare, but is every bit as conservative as they are.

He leans conservative in election cycles. He will not come out and attack NObama on the border security issues. He quietly says he is for it when he should be leading the charge for it. he vote to stop the payroll tax cut, he vote to deny a cap on upper income people’s income tax bracket.

He is a convenient Republican when it is fund raising time.
