I started driving in 1972. I miss those days, less crowded roads. Remember 'Sunday Drivers'? People used to enjoy going for a drive.

Not today. No matter how fast you go, eventually there will be someone riding your bumper, wanting to go faster. Good for you for finding a place with less stress. Enjoy!

I started in 1970. And here we actually still have “sunday drivers”. I’m one of them. When I get behind a slow car, I just go slower. If I’m in a hurry, I legally pass and I’m on my way.

See, here you CAN pass. ;-)

BTW, I mostly bicycle commuted in Seattle. I could actually beat cars to work on a daily basis. Here I do a 122 mile round trip every day - 75 minutes each way. It would not be possible in the Seattle area because it would be too stressful.
