Like David versus Goliath, an upstart Christian film has shocked the world by winning an unlikely victory in the form of an Academy Award nomination.
Only this time, the crowds aren't cheering for David.
Instead, mainstream-media Oscar watchers across the nation have blasted the Academy for choosing the hymn-like testament to Gods presence over hits by pop artists like Jay-Z and Taylor Swift.
"I cant figure any of this s out," an unnamed competitor told the Hollywood Reporter, or THR, after learning his or her song was beaten out by "Alone Yet Not Alone," the title song from the faith-themed movie of the same name.

Allow me to recommend viewing the second video clip which is Joni Eareckson Tada preparing and then singing this song. Some of you may be aware that Joni is paralyzed from the neck down due to an accident when she was 17. She is a glowing testimony to God's grace, and her performance here is inspiring.

Did you not read the story? The film has the same name as the song.

FABULOUS song and performance, in my humble opinion.
And you wonder why many people complain that the entertainment industry is out of touch with the average American.

No. I’m stuck out with just a phone. Five minutes and the story won’t load.
Just a break. Title, state, if not city, a clue
Just the title in parentheses :) :)
XOXO

"Everyones so jumping on the job when it comes to humiliating me. Thanks you have been ever so helpful after four others have posted snarky answers " Could be the way you asked it - you were pretty snarky yourself.

“Alone Yet Not Alone.” Just laziness that you didn’t read the excerpted portion. It was in the 4th sentence. Nothing snarky here. Don’t expect to be spoon fed on FR.
