When the government takes all the money, adds regulation and taxes to stifle business,adds costs to essentials like energy, it isn’t about *demand*. It is about lack of discretionary income.
Socialism-Liberalism is an equal opportunity destroyer and no country ever regulated, spent and taxed itself in to prosperity and these people who run the show are too ignorant and dumb to see it. With some exception, most of them just care for their own well being.
Discretionary demand will return when the government stops arbitrary redistribution of that discretionary spending. Government expands the Ripple economy at the expense of the Korbell economy.
