I'm not saying pot should be legal, I'm saying the statement it's a gateway drug is ridiculous. Of course pot is a gateway drug, if for no other reason that it introduces the user to the seedy underworld of drug distribution.

Pot is no more a gateway then alcohol.

Fact of the matter is all the things in life that are "tempting" bring eventual darkness.
Writing of law is what is in question, parameters become subjective.
