Aiken Electric, my local power company, publishes a monthly magazine. In the latest issue there’s an article by the CEO claiming that these EPA rules could push my electric bill up by 54%.
The EPA, like most federal agencies, is out of control.
There have been articles about EPA reducing fines if companies will donate to certain green non profit organizations.
This was very common in Germany during the Hitler years. “We won’t fine you if you use your profits to build us a munitions plant.”

What a pity more of our gutless, fawning, very rich CEOs don't do this. They have a real bully pulpit which they should use more often. The problem is that if their costs go up, caised by the EPA, then their prices have to go up and, BINGO, the brilliant CEO has increased revenues. Time for a bigger bonus.
