What is that? A bitlocker?

At first I felt safe with this whole Target business. I didn’t shop there during the official dates given.
I have shopped there occasionally over the past year - so now we know the hackers have our “guest info” - name, address, phone number.
I’m pretty sure they don’t have my email.

I have - twice- received strange texts trying to entice me into visiting links I never clicked on.
I just deleted the texts, and so far that seems to be my only problem.

The Bitlocker virus encrypts your hard drive (and any attached drives) and offers to give you the key to unlock them for several thousand dollars.
I’s one of the reasons for using a virtual machine for normal web browsing and email.

I never gave Target any info so I am not worried about Target.
