Demonstrators have been attempting to 'shut down' Bangkok since Monday. Dozens were injured today as violence escalated after days of relative calm.

An explosion during an antigovernment march in Bangkok today wounded at least 36 and raised concerns about escalating violence after the protest movement appeared to be losing steam in recent days.

It’s been documented how easily it is to influence the American agitprop MSM, the CIA simply drop suggestions or simply wave carrots of future access around, and the little reporterettes do the agitpropr work willingly and with glee.

The OpEds in the WaPo and the NYTimes are so obtuse from what’s actually going on it’s amazing that there is absolutely no counterbalanced reporting of the truth in the American press.

The Thaksin’s (Red shirts) owe the rice farmers something like US$3Billion in the ridiculously corrupt vote buying Rice subsidy scam, and over 90% of the rice farmers have not been paid. And there is no money left, the central bank can not even secure loans... Most of the $3Billion was straight stolen by the Red Shirt politicians.

Actually, it would be interesting if, as the croud formed, a member of the croud who is a government plant thows his backpack under a car and, as the thick of the crowd gets close to it, kablam. Rack it up as a “working accident” and the crowd is dispersed.

We spent a week in Bangkok in December. It is a large, very interesting and enjoyable city. An extremely minute group of “community organizer” types are doing this. Others work...live...survive.
