I dunno - the loud snorting noises indicate to me they're on the right track.

I say they need to keep working the lethal drug angle until they find something that takes a full 8 hours, and includes more writhing in the meantime.

A much more appropriate concern is “how long did this jerk’s victim suffer”. That answer X 10 would be OK for the perp.

Then again it might have been cool for them to stop, wake the perp up and restart again the next day, just to give him time to think about it.

I am in the last stages of Pulmonary Fibrosis. I have several periods every day that I gasp, cough, feel like I'm suffocating and terrified. I did nothing to deserve this disease. It is idiopathic. I don't think that it would be inhumane for this rapist/murderer of 2 should suffer any less time than his victims.
