A 12ga shell of buckshot in the back of one's head from 15 feet works much better in the both time and effiiency dimensions. It's also way cheaper and readily available. Why all this hassle?

I dunno - the loud snorting noises indicate to me they're on the right track.
I say they need to keep working the lethal drug angle until they find something that takes a full 8 hours, and includes more writhing in the meantime.

A short drop with a sudden stop works well too!
Added bonus it is reusable...........

The Chicoms use a 7.62 x 39mm in the back of the head from about 3 feet. Sounds much more humane than what is described above.

I thought journalists claimed that "there as are two aides to every story".
So what about the details about the brutal murder that landed that guy in the gurnee?

put McGuire to death for the 1989 rape and fatal stabbing of a pregnant newlywed, Joy Stewart.”
...If they’d match the amount of killin’ time to the amount of time that this poor woman suffered would be appropriate IMO.

Beat me to it.
I was gonna ask how long the rape and murder lasted.

If one looks at his crime, killing a 7 month pregnant woman after sodomizing her 25 years ago, the only humane treatment I can think of is to place him along with the woman’s family behind closed doors for a few hours.
Would that suffice on the humane side?

A short drop with a sudden stop works well too! You must have meant the long drop which fractures a condemned's neck.

As long as the cleanup crew comes from death row. Well, with 20 years long waiting terms one can find enough condemned people for this job.
