How did he retain his Iranian citizenship and passport ?

Did he note that he was Iranian National on his form SR-86 ?

The USA has no requirement to give up foreign citizenship when being naturalized. This is quite convenient for people like my wife (Russian citizen) who regularly travel back to their country of origin (no visa requirements, which I have to deal with it every time)...assuming that you don't have any intention of working a job requiring clearance.

However, this citizenship *should* have been declared on his clearance paperwork and *should* have raised red flags.
