Lindzen famously said that he thinks the people with these global warming theories are computer programmers, not climatologists. Climategate showed just how utterly wrong he was. They are definitely not computer programmers.

So true. Programmers know that computer models can be flawed even if the programming is perfect. The algorithm itself can be flawed, there may be a lack of data, there could be manipulated input and even the presentation can be misleading.

In global warming graphs, they often zoom in to show only a rise in temperature without showing the previous decline from previous warming periods. And of course they adjust the colors in warming maps to show a slightly warm areas as a burning red color. Easily digestible for news watchers but completely misleading.
