Im just heartborken. the comedic value would have been priceless

Brown is out ... he would have run against Hillary from the Right ... and from the Left.
He supported a flat tax in ‘92.

He would be about 80 years old. I find it odd that young people would elect someone of his age.

Jerry’s always been an odd bird. He can surprise you sometimes. Not your average leftwing party apparatchik.

I think back in 1992, Brown was the last of the old, lunchbox Democrats. He supported a flat income tax and tariffs, for crying out loud.
To: funfan
He’s where he belongs...after a fashion...a fashion we here in California could do without I dont hesitate to add!
Maybe Berkeley CA needs a mayor?

Howard Dean could be his running mate.
Maybe Weiner or that Grayson guy could run too?
I know...
Sheila Jackson-Lee for President!! We should start a Facebook page and an online petition right now.

Weird thing is, he would be better than Obama and better than Hillary.

I rode the Peace Train with Linda Ronstadt, Jerry and Tom Hayden from BOS to New Hampshire in 1980, went to a Jerry Brown event that day and the next day went to Reagan hdqtrs.
Got a little taste of everything. The Brown groupies sure were deflated when Carter walloped everyone on primary day. Miss Lillian was dancing a jig.
