Good idea on their part, Looks like it worked too
I guess when Dems saw those ‘dont blink’ commercials claiming that a shutdown would force REid and Obama to repeal Obama-care, REid and Obama said :
“Our lucky day. Now that they are calling for a shutdown we can shut it down and blame them and it will sound believable. The GOP will surrender just like they did in 1996”
and it rallied conservatives and it energized conservatives like they haven’t been since Saran Palin was selected as VP candidate.
Unfortunately the GOPe leaders have no desire to energize and rally conservative voters.
