If, instead of regulating and taxing to death the engine of growth, our government suddenly decided to leave it alone and allow it to be nourished by free-market forces, like the seed, it would explode with vibrant growth, jobs would return quickly, and to the pleasant surprise of the government, its own coffers would fill, because the tax base would be broadened.

Unfortunately, I don't see a road from here to there.

There can be no "suddenly decided" part, because entitlements breed a sense of entitlement. No amount of arguing will take away the fear of losing something.

We arrived at a free society from a dictatorship. I fear we may have to travel the same path to get back to one.

Also, Mr. Carson misplaces the blame when he calls them “Obama regulations”. While it’s true that Barry-O has pushed the envelope farther, it’s not his idea, it’s not that he radically changed course. He simply stepped on the accelerator, he didn’t turn the wheel that much.

In all fairness, America is being weighed down by almost ALL regulations, which are Unconstitutional. Bam is just making it worse.
