NOBODY is asking about the one thing we don’t know. Did the off-duty cop have and use a weapon to subdue the retired cop?
I asked about it (my post is long after yours though) because the articles I saw yesterday did not mention the off duty officer (or the pistol jamming).
Another question not being asked is why didn’t the off duty cop step in before it got to that point. My father is a retired cop. When he was still on the force he would be let into the movies for free because they’d expect him to handle a situation like this one. He was also expected to carry his gun 24/7
