The Texas grid almost reached capacity last week. I’ve never seen that in the winter time. As such I bought one of these:
It is now a matter of when, not if it goes down.
Good idea. You may need it long about June or July.
In GA you can live in the mountains without AC but down around Atlanta it would really be rough July, Aug and the first 2 weeks of Sept. The humidity gets so bad its just murder. Old people would keel over like flies. Maybe thats the plan.
We have had that for many winters in the last couple decades.
