No doubt it would because the abortion law there was a symbolic act from business as usual Republican politicians reacted to by business as usual Democrat politicians like Wendy Davis with a lot of drama.. TX seems to me to be the Republican-party of the states: all talk and posing, no real, effective action.
Sad to see them embrace so fully The Tao of Republican Orthodoxy.
