Richmond is to Northern California as Detroit is to Michigan. Or maybe Richmond is second,and Vallejo is first because they’ve already been through bankruptcy and are likely to have to go back in soon.
Had jury duty there last year ( jury service is now county wide, I guess because they can’t get anyone in Richmond to serve). After sitting in the Jury Assembly Room for most of the morning, the presiding judge came in and dismissed us because the defendant in the assault case we were supposed to hear had “made an unauthorized departure” from the court house and she had had to issue a warrant for his arrest! I wondered to myself why he wasn’t chained up somewhere based on what the charges were.
A 7th century religion living the 7th century lifestyle? Big deal.
But what is really going on is thecwaiting game until the City of San Fran write a big fat check for the repairs. The Jizra is owed for a sewage and vermin infested Mosque blessing the city.
Just wait until the mosque blows up from improper stowage of explosives, ammunition, and incendiaries. Oops.

Religious structures are subject to building and health codes.
That isn’t raw sewage...it is just a pile of “religious writings”.
