Agreed. Let's hope they have not kidded themselves into thinking McCain will change his liberal ways after being censured. They must follow up with an aggressive campaign to rid the state of that turd by supporting a solid conservative.

As a Zonie, I’ll say this. MANY of the local govts are total old boys clubs. That’s one issue. Another is the influx of moderates fleeing Cali. Then there’s illegals either voting or having the sympathy of their neighbors who don’t want their good friends and drinking buddy’s deported. And trust me, there are a LOT of people like that here.
Lastly all you need to do is search the old threads to see how JD was savaged. By Conservatives. Sure he had his issues. His TV commercials did him few favors. But the mentality displayed on those threads contributed to Johnny’s last win.
Unfortunately you will likely see it all repeated if McCain does in fact run again.
