Mondale appeared to be a decent human being. At least some leftist democrats used to seem like decent enough people with some morals. Take it or leave it. But the D party has been taken over by some very evil hard. Hard leftists indeed Who display no signs of ever having had any decency or morals whatsoever. and unlike the D party of 40 or Fifty years ago, there is no room in today’s super - leftist D party for “ moderates “ of any kind whatsoever.
