Another victim in what could be a string of random attacks on New Years Eve in LoDo has come forward, making it a total of five beatings that police are investigating.
The random attacks have been happening near 16th and Blake and 20th and Market. The incidents could be part a violent game called the Knockout Game where a person is sucker punched for no reason.
Now another man has come forward claiming he was beaten early New Years Day.
After seeing the reports about the beatings on CBS4, Kevin Wagley came forward because he believes he is a victim of the Knock Out Game.
The victims from LoDo say they were approached by complete strangers, had no altercations that would lead up to a situation, and that they were random attacks.
Wagley said he was tying his shoe with his leg propped up on a planter when someone clocked him in the face and ran off.
They didnt rob me, they literally just hit me in the face and took off running, said Wagley. Its just shocking. I never thought the knock out game would reach Denver.
Wagley said he was attacked at 2:30 a.m. New Years Day. He was outside his hotel at 19th and Champa tying his shoe when he was punched. His attackers ran away.
Police say at least four people were assaulted in three separate attacks. One occurred at 16th Street and Blake Street and two between Larimer and Market streets on 20th.
Police wont confirm if the assaults are being considered the Knock Out Game but they are concerned about the similarities. Officers are looking for surveillance video from businesses near where the attacks happened so they can identify the suspects.
Wagley just wants them caught, Man up
turn yourself in
be a better human being.
Media must feel that they’re up against the wall with the whole “could be” business in that article.
Solution: pack heat.
A cluster of events at a particular location by definition is not random. The use of random when discussing knock out game events is another example of liberals using New Speak to fuzz up truth.
Man up turn yourself in be a better human being.
you can’t expect animals to be civilized.
Hmmm, race wasn’t mentioned...guess it’s not important.
Another failure by Chickenpooper.
Just about a year ago
I decided to head downtown
Seekin´ some suds and vittles
But that wasn’t all I found
Thing got bad, things got worse
I guess you will know the tune
Oh Lord, beaten in LoDo again
This guy needs re-education.
But, but, but...
Diversity is our strength!
Isn’t it?
This brings up an interesting question. Suppose it’s 11:00 at night on a fairly empty city street and two people are approaching you. YOu don’t know if they just want to ask for directons or a light for their cigarette or whether they want to play the knockout game. What do you do? Tell them “that’s close enough” when there are still three feet away? Run? Make an obvious show of putting your hand insdie your coat where a pistol may be? How would you deal with it?
Random (according to PC dictionary) “When a Black person commits a violent crime motivated by hatred.”
Hate Crime (according to PC dictionary) “When a White person says anything or does anything.”

What kind of people? A priest and a rabbi? Teenage white girls? Bums? Or young black males whose clothing, piercings, body language, and facial expressions scream, Im a violent scumbag?
What do you do? Tell them thats close enough when there are still three feet away?
Three? Try twelve.
Run?
If possible I might alter my course to open our CPA (closest point of approach). If they then alter their course to close our CPA, the gun is coming out.
Make an obvious show of putting your hand insdie your coat where a pistol may be?
Never that. Never threaten. Either do, or dont do.
I’d deal with it by never in a million years being on an empty city street at 11pm. But that’s just me.
LoDo?
“Diversity is our strength! Isnt it?”
I was walking into the VA hospital as some bureaucrats were setting up a “diversity display.” As I walked past, I said to them, “Diversity is where nations go to die.”
I was hoping the woman would fall off her ladder, but I guess she was truly paralyzed.
At first they had not a single picture of a white person anywere in the display. A couple of days later they had one picture of a white woman. Maybe somebody complained.
Great graphic.
Did you do that?
I don't generally do this either but walking back to my car after attending a ballgame has taken me on some city streets that didn't have very many people on them. Same could happen leaving a concert or other type activity.
I know, and your question is a good one, I was just being snarky, sorry. Sometimes it’s either that or the angry ranting would never stop.
Good response. Thanks.
