Not defending Christie, but where was the press when Obama paid workers to close a lane near Mount Rushmore and generally cause as much pain as possible during the partial shutdown?

Hillary’s army - vicious, petty, stupid, cruel and vindictive.

And also treacherous - hey Christie, you know she set you up, right?

As contemptible as this whole situation is, I would much rather spend an hour stuck in traffic on the George Washington Bridge than be audited by the IRS.

Or shot with a "Fast and Furious" gun. (Didn't Obama promote the people responsible for that disaster?) Christie isn't in the same league as Obama when it comes to corruption and viciousness.

Christie's aides should have just shut down the WW2 memorial, put traffic cones around scenic outlooks, or closed the National Cancer Institute....

“Hillary’s army - vicious, petty, stupid, cruel and vindictive.”

Yet Hillary’s army was useless against Obama. He out-Clintoned” and defeated Hillary in the primaries.

Yeah, right.. but HOW? It would be good to have some more info...

Democrat “legislators” (who?) issued a court order to search these two individuals’ private emails...?

If it was Hillary's minions, my hat's off to her for once.

Now all we need is a candidate with the charisma of Reagan who's even more Machiavellian than Hillary. Any ideas?

She beat him handily in the primaries (where votes are counted); he won in caucuses (where “enthusiasm” counts). The strangest thing is how many of her supporters ended up voting for him anyway after that fiasco.

This is a non-story, to keep insinuations of a misbehaving Republican in the news as a smokescreen for the unfolding disaster that is now this country. It will never touch Christie, who had no need for such petty BS.

Christie isn’t very conservative and I hope he does not win the GOP nomination. I am sure most on this forum prefer Cruz, Paul, Walker, etc....as do I. That being said, he is the best governor my state has ever had and is not capable of doing something so stupid and petty. I know him and he would not do something like this. First, he is too smart. Second, he was cruising to re- election and wouldn’t pull a Watergate type blunder. Lastly, creating havoc on purpose just isn’t in him.

I don’t like Christie but I’d rather be stuck in a traffic jam than have a dagger shoved up my butt and kill me because my own leadership didn’t care about my safety in a dangerous, foreign country.

To me the greater damage is done to the Republican brand by the fact the heartless emails (”They’re Buona children”) were flying back and forth between Republicans. Karl Rove and all his cronies should be screaming about how that doesn’t represent the Republican party.

But then again,,perhaps it does now. It shouldn’t...but those emails will be used to paint every conservative as a republican and every republican as cold, calculating and heartless. Whether or not it touches Christie now, it WILL if he does not fire the people involved.

The stupid cruelty and arrogance of those punks shutting down traffic for purposes of retaliation should be completely rejected by the party elite. I am not holding my breath on it.

agreed- complain all you want about Christie but this is the criminal liberal media at its best:

4 Americans die in Libya due to obama’s incompetence? nothing to see here....

obama uses a Federal agency (IRS) to purposely target Americans for political purposes??? nothing to see here...

Christie causes traffic jams??? the horror- the horror!!!

I have been carefully watching the series The Wire that is set in Baltimore. Similar petty actions are a theme.

It is not Republican, it is Yankee behavior. It is tit for tat corruption having nothing to do with party. It is North East Europa misbehavior.

One can only wonder if Tony Soprano supports Christe

Bingo - spot on.

The use of the federal Govt to cause a “traffic jam” for TEA Party/Conservative groups for political purposes is somehow different and certainly wasn’t the lead story on the NBC national news as this mamby-pamby story was last night.

Normally I’d be screaming about the double standard (bridge lane closed vs Benghazi, IRS, Obamacare, Fast & Furious etc). But I am loving this. The Obama-hugging RINO is done.

-

Baltimore isn’t the Northeast and the N.E. cities and states’ behavior is hardly worse than Chicago,Detroit,L.A. and New Orleans.
