If one of the kids from our high school “disappeared” it could only be foul play. None of the parents would go along with a teenager’s scheme. The kid’s cars and license plates are on file. This kid looks pretty innocent and hapless. Same as the kids from our high school.

One of the moms who has some association with the FBI and is a lawyer demonstrated to her daughter and mine just how easy it would be to grab them.

The cops better say what they mean, I doubt this kid is hiding out at granny’s. The only other thing I can think of is his parents are splitting up and one of them took off with him.

You make reference to stranger kidnapping and parental kidnapping.While both types surely do occur my knowledge of Jeff Jacoby’s decency gives me the sense that if the boy *was* kidnapped a stranger is the more likely culprit.Although I have no way of being sure my hunch is that Jacoby might be worth a few quid.
