My son looked into going to Hampden-Sydney College in VA. The student that escorted my son around said that they have an armory to store weapons. During hunting season he would get up early get his shotgun, go turkey hunting (on campus), put his shotgun back in the armory and attend class still camouflaged up. The student said that he was one of many that did that. This same person got a turkey and missed class because he was so focused on the kill. When he realized that he missed class, he went to the professor to explain himself (because there was a scheduled test that he missed). The professor showed a true interest in the hunt and let the student take the test later that day. I wish my son had chosen that college.
