The Republicans are morons. First they cancel funding which hurts them greatly by those that held jobs, then they pass it anyway which gives Zero a win.
Aren’t there ‘work farms’? IE: You wanted taxpayer $$, you show up to the Park Service, DoT and clean the trails, roadsides...maybe scrub a toilet or two, and get paid $X/hr. (up to the week max). Hell, maid service the unemployment office (since they’re there anyway)! Assist at the local hospital/free clinic. Don’t tell me there’s NOTHING to be done. All this can be 24/7 (so HELP those who’ll need ‘child care’).
Oh, I’m sure the unions, that take a week to clean .5mi section of highway, will complain....
