Like most big city ERs the one I worked in had many "regulars",a good percentage of whom were chronic alcoholics.One day a particularly dirty,smelly and disgusting drunk came in and we had to relieve him of his bottle.It was some kind of cheap wine (can't recall the name) that boasted on the label that their grapes were grown in....OHIO!

One of my many fond memories of that place.

My guess is that this particular guy voted Rat.....5 times on each election day.

There are many vineyards along the shores of Lake Erie. The lake provides the right temperatures and growing season for Riesling grapes. You can see grape vines everywhere along The NY state thruway as you drive beside Lake Erie between the PA border and Buffalo.

The wines produced in that area are not necessarily cheap.
