Global warming may be contributing to the "polar vortex" causing frigid temperatures across most of the nation on Monday, according to some climate change researchers.

And right on schedule the media have to come up with a way to make it sound like it's completely unprecedented. Here in Ohio, it has been significantly colder than this several times over the past 30 years. Yes, -15 degrees is cold. It isn’t unprecedentedly cold however. And yes, the wind chill makes it worse but that isn’t anything new either. 30 years ago they called it “global cooling”. Now they call it global warming. I call it winter weather.
I searched for Winter 1977, it was a record for Ohio. I was cold here in Tri state area. I recall the Polluted Hudson River was freezing somewhat off Hudson County & Manhattan.
The blizzard of 1978 was pretty bad too.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
