You have not missed much, although I will say I did enjoy
Pain and Gain. And the Megan Fox chick in
Transformers is pretty gorgeous.

I loved the two Bad Boys movies and thought the direction on the first was very good.

Yes...agreed: the first
Bad Boys moved well, had good action and several laughs. See
Pain and Gain if you have not...it's based on a true story, and Bay really surprised me on this one.

Wow! This guy does an incredible obama imitation. In fact, it’s much better. I really was hoping he would tell us how the kids needed breathalyzers for their asthma, but I was overall happy with his performance.
I bet he kicked the crap out of a water cooler somewhere behind stage.
I wonder how much the prompter people got paid by some joker to make him look like a doof.
To: Inyo-Mono
It will be fun so see what happens when he goes after one of his actors for not knowing their lines.
To: Viennacon
hmmm...that gives me an idea....What if we put “Drop Dead” on the prompter, maybe we could thin the herd a bit

The guy has a bad rep as a pompous jerk, so karma giggles are hard to resist. It’s not easy to improv on stage when things fall apart, but the guy should be fairly experienced with public speaking in his line of work.

I did see that and didn’t like it. It was as if Bay couldn’t decide if he wanted a comedy or drama.

Painful to watch...but wow...you would think that someone in that profession was a little more glib in front of an audience.

I woundnt call that a meltdown, exactly. He froze. He wasnt prepared at all to wing it. The bad part about that is it says he obviously didn't care enough about the appearance to write & rehearse his own material. He was just going to come in, put in an appearance, read his stuff and go. So yeah, embarrassing for him to be caught taking a lot of his usual audience so much for granted.

He made those Transformers movies
lens flare!
We don’t need no steenkin story, we got the same special effects that 100 other movies used!

Yeah...I have heard that viewpoint on this movie. I thought Bay showed the idiocy of the real-life juice-heads with his telling of this story—although violent and dramatic—funny in some parts.
