Scott Walker
Religion: Non-denominational, evangelical Christianity

A 2012 Gallup survey reported that 10% of U.S. adults identify as non-specific Christian.

Criticism ...nondenominationalism encourages a descent of Christianity—and indeed, all religions—into comfortable "general moralism" rather than being a focus for facing the complexities of churchgoers' culture and spirituality... it also encourages ignorance of the Scriptures, which in turn reduces overall religious literacy, increasing the potential for inter-religious misunderstandings and conflict.[3]

Walker is good on certain issues but needs to shut up about this. Now he sounds like those who criticized Reagan for challenging Ford.

The Tea Party isn’t the one who started this fight yet the establishment wants us to surrender while they trash us? Maybe they should take their own advice!

Does he think people are so stupid they can not do both, support and elect conservatives and work to remove rinos? Electing a rino IS electing a democrat. The tea party understands opposing a rino IS focusing on the democrats. Flash: the tea party is able to multitask.

The primaries are the RINO’s soft underbelly.

Living in Wisconsin, I have to step in here.

By the measure of many here even Ronald Reagan would not be conservative enough today. Walker is not Reagan, but for someone who is being called a liberal here, he sure has done a whole lot of conservative things. I have looked around, and he is one of the best there is right now. Please stop believing the intentional mis-quotes from the media, who hate him and are doing everything they can to destroy this good man.

Meanwhile, here is the money quote in context:

CROWLEY: Governor, quickly here, when Republicans on Capitol Hill agree to a budget agreement before they left for the holiday recess, Speaker John Boehner came out and really took on conservatives Tea Party-types for having an undue influence on some of his members that have blocked famously a number of things that we know that Speaker Boehner wanted to do, what do you think the role of the Tea Party is in 2014 in terms of Republican primaries or even moving into the generals? Are they on the rise in power or on the wane?

WALKER: Well, it’s hard to say because there’s no one monolithic group that’s the tea party. What I’ve seen over the years is frustration build across my state and across the country, particularly, with the federal government, what people thought the government had gone too big, too expensive, too a part of our lives. Obamacare was kind of the last straw a few years ago.

People showed up at the Congressional town hall meetings and when people didn’t feel like they were listened to, then they took out their frustration, particularly in the 2010 election.

CROWLEY: Right.

WALKER: I think that degree is healthy if it’s focused in the right way, but one of the things I said after the budget compromise is for people who didn’t like it who didn’t think it was good enough, the answer is not to take it out on House Republicans or in primaries, the answer is to go to Kentucky — excuse me to go to Louisiana or go to Arkansas or go to North Carolina or Alaska, where there are senators facing real elections as Democrats and go and help in those elections and elect new Republicans to come because a year from now, things will be much different if republicans hold the United States Senate.

CROWLEY: Got to —

WALKER: Don’t focus on the people in office, focus on those who you’d like to replace.

end quote

Taking it in context, it is not that bad, but still pretty bad. He is talking about the senate there. But he does need to work on message delivery.

Yeah. Focus on the Dems and end up with another “Republican” Congress like we had in the early and mid 2000s.

The Tea Party should target restoration of the Constitution:

No, not another one. Walker simply recognizes what we should all face, the Klingon aphorism: “Only a fool fights in a burning house.” Let’s douse the fire. Please, first defeat the principal enemy, then address internal questions with reason and discussion.

At this time in history, Walker has it right. Do you want to be pure or do you want to save the Republic?

Another one bites the dust...

“Gov. Scott Walker told Chuck Todd this morning that he believes Chris Christie is indeed conservative enough for the Republican Party in 2016 despite some disagreements he has with Christie.”

Walker is wrong. It is extremely hard to fight an enemy if someone in your corner is poised to stab you in the back at the first opportunity, and has already done so repeatedly.

If you can get rid of the traitor, only then can you fully commit to fighting your enemy.

Right now, the RINO leadership are under tremendous stress, and every one of them that can be attrited strongly increases the odds of a conservative taking their place. Eventually the tables will be turned, and the RINOs will be told to sit down and shut up, and if they vote against the conservatives, they will be stripped of power and relegated to the kiddies table.

This election, I figure that a few RINO senators may get taken out, and with momentum, several others with the next presidential race. Slow and steady wins.

This may be their last opportunity to thrash around to try and keep their seats. And every effort against conservatives shows their true colors.

(Walker)...said Sunday that the tea party movement should target Democrats, not Republicans.

"The answer is not to take it out on House Republicans in primaries, it's to go to Louisiana, Arkansas and North Carolina," the Republican governor said on CNN's "State of the Union," referring to Senate Democrats who are facing tough reelection campaigns in red states.

Walker offered his assessment in the wake of House Speaker John Boehner's recent criticism of some conservative outside groups.

Hmmm, the TPM "targeted" Walker in a GOOD way and were instrumental in keeping him from being recalled. I know because I was there helping.

Now he tells them to keep our hands off of leftist liberal Republicans and continue to let them make the USA more of a democracy than a Constitutional Republic?

Any elected officials that don't respect our Constitutional Republic should be replaced by ones that do, no matter what their party affiliation.

This was his answer to Boehner's constant efforts to marginalize the Tea Party Movement, just like Rove, Schmidt and the other non-conservative "conservatives?"

Dear Scott Walker,

I believe the saying goes;

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
