When I lived in Ireland, I heated my house with ‘lumps of coal’... :)

Both my Grandparents did here in York and Emigsville. I filled their coal buckets and carried them upstairs from the basement coal shute and bin, at 5-6yr old. It burned hot and kept their home warm.
