I’ll be fity but I’m already telling the kids that we didn’t have any fancy schmancy twitterbooks or wifi modems. In my day we used a dial up modem and the screeching was so loud your eardrums would burst. We’d walk out into the street with blood running out of our ears and get hit by a truck because we couldn’t hear it comin and WE LIKED IT!
LOL. My kids are now 34 and 32. I have 5 grandchildren, the oldest will be 6 in March. My kids grew up listening to my stories of growing up as the 3rd of 6 kids, “we were so poor that we didn’t have a high chair. We had a had a clothes pin bag nailed to the wall that the youngest would be placed in and older kids would toss food into the bag. But we were happy and proud and knew there were better days ahead.” Now I’m expected to tell these stories as the babies get older.
